On the road with no rearview mirror

yesterday road

I heard a story of one NBA basketball player that was so fed up with his lack of success that he ripped off the rearview mirror of his car. He was not going to look back, ever, and just focus on what’s in front. Because of such bold move, coupled with lots of hard work and determination, he turned his game around and was able to achieve some success. On the road to accomplish our dreams and goals, I’ve learned that this bold move is a must. Learn from your mistakes and failures but don’t let your past have a burden on your future.

How big do you want your business?

Wow! If only I could have all the time and money invested in my failed businesses. I think I would be set. Haha. Well, the reality is that I’m not where I want to be but I sure-the-heck am not where I used to be in business and in life. The truth is; no matter how many excuses I try to give, the one and only reason why my businesses failed is because of my mindset. I needed to grow ME before I could grow my businesses.

Success is an inside job! Get it?

How to not quit

If only I could count the number of times I wanted to throw in the towel and quit. I’ve always had this burning desire to become successful but sometimes, every so often, I feel like I can’t make it. Remember this; what you do in the valley will determine how quickly you get to the peak. The peak being our goals and dreams. Just because you are in a valley (or in the first half, per say) you should not throw away the full game. Stay the course and don’t quit, something good is bound to happen.
